In the project FahrRad!, an innovative education initiative on cycle mobility is conceived, evaluated and integrated into the everyday educational program of six Viennese educational institutions with partly very high migration rates. Children and young people actively participate in the innovation and research process in the field of cycling. As a practical everyday object in the world of children, the bicycle is the starting point for promoting fun in active mobility and raising children's interest in technical and scientific issues. The contact and exchange with role models also opens up new future perspectives and highlight job profiles in this area.

In the participating educational institutions VS Greiseneckergasse, AHS Heustadelgasse, Integrative Lernwerkstatt Brigittenau, VS and KG Bildungscampus Seestadt and KG Kinderfreunde Seestadt, the co-operatively developed educational concept further should be integrated into the everyday educational program.
